Week 24. The holiday routine

After a week I’m well into the holiday routine. It looks like the following:

I get up around ten o’clock. First breakfast and then off to the stable to tend to the horse and watch my daughter ride.
Afternoons are spent resting, reading and writing in the garden. It’s been sunny so far so the light has been to hard and flat during the day. No bad conscience from letting the camera rest.
At six it’s time to start cook dinner and when everybody is satisfied and replete I pack my camera bag and head out to hunt in the golden hour. Remember, the sun sets here around half past nine this time of the year, with a long period of low standing sun and glorious light, so there is plenty of time in the evenings.

This week’s picture was taken during an evening walk by the seafront.

This post is part of my project to publish my favorite new image every week during 2017. Shot in the previous week.
Hopefully will this be an inspiration to get out and shot and to bring the camera with me wherever I go.
